LGBT center will move to Blatz Boiler House building

Organizations:

The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center will move from its current location at 315 W. Court St. in the city’s Haymarket neighborhood to the 104-year-old Blatz Boiler House building at 252 E. Highland Ave. in downtown Milwaukee.
The LGBT Center recently signed a 10-year lease in the Blatz Boiler House and will occupy 20,879 square feet of space in the four-story building.
The LGBT Center will move into the Boiler House in October.
John Dulmes and Daniel Walsh of Siegel-Gallagher brokered the lease for the building owner and Marianne Burish of Siegel-Gallagher represented the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center.
“Bringing the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center to a centrally located property like the Boiler House was definitely one of the primary objectives,” said Burish. “Not only will the Milwaukee LGBT Center enjoy their new space, it also met stringent requirements for affordability, locational attributes, functionality, in addition to the fact that it is a truly beautiful historic structure.”
