Milwaukee County Supervisor Chris Larson plans to announce tonight his campaign to challenge Democrat Jeff Plale for his 7th District State Senate seat.
Larson plans to make the announcement at the Bold Yet Original Studio, 2246 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., Milwaukee.
The event is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Larson describes himself as a “a progressive politician” who founded formed and helped finance (through grassroots fund-raising and organizing) the popular Quality of Life Alliance, which successfully fought for passage of the transit and parks referendum in 2008. Larson also founded the Democratic Training for Elections and Action in Milwaukee (DemTEAM).
