Lake Geneva home sold for nearly $13 million

A Lake Geneva mansion has been sold for $12.75 million.

The 13,000-square-foot mansion is located on South Lake Shore Drive sold on Friday. It commanded one of the highest sale prices ever for a Lake Geneva-area home, according to listing agent Anne DuBray of Coldwell Banker.

According to a Crain’s Chicago report, the only other buyer paying more for a Lake Geneva-area home was when a Los Angeles woman spent more than $13.5 million in 2016 and 2017 buying most of the condos in a historical mansion to reassemble them into a single residence

The South Lake Shore Drive home sold on Friday has 13 bedrooms, 16 total bathrooms, three kitchens and a pool, and boasts 208 feet of lake frontage. Other rooms include three kitchens, an exercise room and a library.

It also has a four-car garage, elevator and resort-sized pier, according to online listings.

The home was built in 2009.

It is assessed at roughly $9.68 million, and was last sold in 2007 for $3.9 million, according to Walworth County records.

The seller is Thomas Kramer, of Glenview, Illinois.
