What has fueled your company’s growth? Diversifying into new markets like design services that augment technical staffing. An improved manufacturing environment in the Midwest. Hiring great people to leverage our future on.
What is the biggest obstacle to your company’s growth? Any recession would cripple the future. Recessions occur due to over taxation and over regulation by sometimes well meaning politicians who need more education on world markets and economies. Health care in Wisconsin is an issue.
Do you plan any changes in your company in the upcoming months? We are expanding our office space to handle the increased hiring for our Design Services Division. We also plan on augmenting our staffing division through organic growth and possible acquisition.
Who are the business people, locally or nationally, whom you admire? And what traits do those people exhibit that make you admire them? Michael Cudahy. I met him at Marquette Electronics some years ago. He was walking through his manufacturing floor wearing a sport coat, tie, and shorts and sneakers. His ten commandments of business are part of my philosophy now, whether it is a business or non-profit concern I am involved in. He was not only a product innovator, he was a cultural innovator in management. I hope I don’t owe him a royalty now!
My father had a never give up, pick it up when you fall attitude that has made tough decisions easier to make. He has had more input on Key than he will ever know.
What is the outlook for the business conditions of your industry over the next several months? Excellent.
Congratulations from these strategic partners:
