Oak Creek-based Karl’s Event Services, which provides event rental equipment including tents, tables and chairs, announced today that it has been acquired by U.K.-based Arena Group.
“Arena basically does the same thing we do out in Europe,” said Jim Koza, vice president of sales and marketing for Karl’s Event Services.
For Karl’s, which also has locations in Orlando, New York, Maryland and California, “it’s going to be business as usual,” Koza said. No reduction in staff is expected, he said.
“We’ll be able to expand our product offering,” he said. “We get a stronger partner backing us. We’re very excited about it.”
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Karl’s Event Services brand name will remain in place for now, Koza said.
