What’s new at your company?
"The Insta-Info hotline has been in a trial period and our new company newsletter is due out in July. We find that our customer-client base is looking for instant information without having to spend time on the phone. That is why we set up the Insta-Info hotline, which not only offers a quick verbal summary but also offers the opportunity for you to have an information sheet faxed over to you without making any additional calls. The newsletter is a quick look at recent activities in the local market and also highlights some special properties we currently are marketing. It should be a great way to stay informed in our small part of the world."

Do you plan to hire any additional staff or make any significant capital investments in your company in the next year?
"Since it is not our aspiration to become the biggest, we have sustained a controlled growth that has allowed us to select additional brokers who agree with our family atmosphere and are willing to provide that personal attention that we were founded on. This sometimes means that we are not always the name at the top of list for the GEs of the world. However, we are a name that many small to mid-size companies come to remember and respect. We are currently looking to fill a vacancy in the office brokerage arena. Since the six of us brokers are constantly on the run, we are also in the hunt for an assistant who can help keep us all organized and focused on our clients’ best interests."

What will be your company’s main challenges in the next year?
"To stay ahead of our customers. I know this may sound funny, but in the information age, it becomes important to be able to provide something new and valuable to our customers that they cannot find on the Internet. A few years back, it was enough to be able to search for properties, but that can now be done over the Web. Therefore, we believe that the knowledge of each property and being able to illustrate the positives and negatives as it relates to the company’s needs or the tax implications of the sale is something valuable. We also have the ability to align our customers with strategic partners in the real estate process, such as attorneys, bankers, CPAs. Our role has evolved from the simple salesman to a facilitator or consultant to companies’ needs and requests. We can provide the knowledge into the trends and values of commercial real estate to empower business owners with the ability to make good investment decisions."

What’s the hottest trend in your industry?
"The information highway and the purchasing of investment real estate."

Do you have a business mantra?
"The clients’ best interest is our bottom line"

From a business standpoint, who do you look up to?
"My father (company founder Darryl Judson). He has not only been a father to me but also a mentor with great wisdom and knowledge in the real estate market and in all of life’s dealings. I have had the privilege to work and watch how other people, young and old, continue to seek out his advice on all sorts of life’s topics. He has taught me that wealth comes with trust and honor."

What was the best advice you ever received?
"Get it in writing!!!"

What do you like to do in your free time?
"I really enjoy spending time with my family and getting involved in their activities. We spend time skiing, biking, boating, and all of the sports-related activities."
