Jumpstart on the Weekend

*Friday, Oct. 26, and Saturday, Oct. 27, Present Music, Milwaukee Ballet Company and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Peck School will come together to perform new dance works to live music. The show is titled “FALL(ing).” The performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. both Friday and Saturday night at the Helen Bader Concert Hall on UWM’s campus, 2419 E. Kenwood Boulevard in Milwaukee. Adult tickets range from $20 to $30, prices for attendees under age 18 range from $10 to $15, and student prices also range from $10 to $15. *Friday, Oct. 26, through Sunday, Oct. 28, the annual Port Washington Ghost Walk will guide visitors through downtown Port Washington’s haunted sites and bring visitors on a candlelit tour of the city’s cemetery. The walk, led by the Caper Company, lasts two hours and is recommended for individuals age 13 and over. Advanced tickets cost $13, and tickets at the door cost $16. *Saturday, Oct. 27, Mayfair Mall and Radio Disney are throwing a Monster Mash Dance Party from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mayfair Mall’s Center Court. The Halloween event will include a costume contest, giveaways, dancing, crafts and games. The party is free and open to the public. *Saturday, Oct. 27, Radio Milwaukee and Made In Milwaukee Halloween Party 2012 will take place at Turner Hall Ballroom, 1034 N. 4th Street in Milwaukee. The Halloween event, themed “Creatures and Creators,” will include a dance party, music by DJ’s and more. Doors open at 7 p.m. Advanced tickets cost $12, and tickets at the door cost $14. *Saturday, Oct. 27, Bryant’s Cocktail Lounge will host the third annual Mad Men Halloween Party. The event, starting at 8 p.m., will feature drink specials for attendees who wear 1960s suits and cocktail dresses. A costume contest will also award the best Mad Men character costume $100 in cash.
