Milwaukee-based global mining equipment manufacturer Joy Global Inc. has named Mark Gliebe, chairman and chief executive officer of Regal Beloit Corp., to its board of directors.
Beloit-based Regal Beloit makes electric motors, generators and mechanical motion control products for a global customer base.
Gliebe has served as CEO of Regal Beloit since 2011 and chairman since 2012. He previously served as president and chief operating officer and as vice president and president-electronic motors group. He has also worked as general manager of GE Motors and Controls.
Gliebe holds a bachelor’s in computer science from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Cleveland State University.
