Inlanta Mortgage names DelTorto CEO

Will remain in president role

Nicholas DelTorto has been named chief executive officer of Brookfield-based Inlanta Mortgage.

DelTorto has served as president of Inlanta since 2012, and will retain that role.

“I consider myself privileged to know and work with Nick,” said John Knowlton, Inlanta’s chairman. “He has done a great job in leading our company and senior management team since his promotion to president in 2012. He is dedicated to Inlanta and the success of our company.”

DelTorto has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, and has worked at Inlanta since 2010. He previously was president of American Foundations MortgageBanc and of Amerihome Mortgage Company LLC. DelTorto has also served as president of the Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association, and was recently the first WMBA member elected to the National Mortgage Bankers Association Residential Board of Governors. He was recently named the Mortgage Banker of the Year by the WMBA.

Inlanta has more than 240 employees at 37 branches in 16 states offering FHA, VA, USDA and conventional mortgage loans. The company has been growing during the housing recovery. Last year, Inlanta hired 70 new employees to keep up with mortgage loan demand.
