Inlanta Mortgage moving corporate headquarters to Pewaukee

Company bought Jannsen Center building for $3.2 million

Brookfield-based Inlanta Mortgage purchased the Jannsen Center building in Pewaukee and will be moving its headquarters to the building.

Inlanta has more than 240 employees at 37 branches in 16 states offering FHA, VA, USDA and conventional mortgage loans. The company has been growing during the housing recovery. Last year, Inlanta hired 70 new employees to keep up with mortgage loan demand. Its Pewaukee branch is located in the 20,000-square-foot Jannsen Center, W239 N3490 Pewaukee Road.

Within the next 60 days, 85 people will move from Inlanta’s leased corporate office at 611 N. Barker Road to join 13 people in Pewaukee, said Jim Snyder, Pewaukee branch manager.

Inlanta purchased the building for $3.2 million from Destination LLC, which is registered to Terrill Jannsen, owner of Jannsen + Co.

The audit, accounting and tax practice was acquired by Naperville, Ill.-based Sikich LLP in September 2015. Jannsen retained its wealth management and information technology groups.

At the end of the year, Jannsen + Co. moved out of the Jannsen Center to another location in Pewaukee, Snyder said.
