Illinois firm acquires Vector Technologies

Milwaukee-based Vector Technologies Inc. has been acquired by Holden Industries Inc. of Deerfield, Ill.

Vector is a designer and manufacturer of powerful industrial vacuum cleaner and cleaning systems, air and hydro vacuum excavators and other equipment.

Holden Industries is the parent company of Vac-Con Inc., based in Green Cove Springs, Fla. Vac-Con is a manufacturer and distributor of truck-mounted and skid-mounted vacuum sewer cleaning equipment, hydro-excavation equipment and related products.

Joseph Haas, president and chief executive officer of Holden Industries, said, “The addition of Vector represents a significant extension of our product offerings in the vacuum technology arena as well as a further diversification of the customer base for our products.”

Stephen Schoenberger, president of Vector, said, “Joining the Vac-Con team creates exciting opportunities for the combined companies, both domestically and internationally.
