Hupy and Abraham expands focus on nursing home malpractice cases

With two new attorneys onboard, Milwaukee-based personal injury law firm Hupy and Abraham, S.C. aims to bolster its litigation and nursing home and abuse cases practice area.

Thomas Kyle has joined Hupy and Abraham, S.C. as an attorney after serving as partner at Milwaukee firm Pitman, Kyle, Sicula & Dentice S.C.

Kyle will focus on representing victims of serious injury and death. Kyle, who earned his law degree from Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minn., graduating cum laude, is also part of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. The group is comprised of attorneys who have succeeded in million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.

Additionally Hupy and Abraham, S.C., has welcomed Terese Halfmann to the firm. Halfmann, an attorney and registered nurse, has aided personal injury clients for more than 25 years, particularly individuals impacted by negligent nursing homes and assisted living facilities. She previously was an associate attorney at PKSD.

Halfmann completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Marian University, her Master of Science at Marquette University and her Juris Doctor at Marquette University Law School.
