SURG Restaurant group announced that it plans to close its Hom Wood Fired Grill restaurant at Bayshore Town Center in Glendale.
The last day of business for the restaurant will be Sunday, Jan. 13.
SURG said its owners decided not to renew the restaurant’s five-year lease at Bayshore and instead want to focus on its downtown Milwaukee venues, which include Carnevor Steakhouse, Gouda’s Italian Deli and Bugsy’s Back Alley Speakeasy.

The Glendale Hom Wood Fired Grill opened in 2014, serving Wisconsin-themed farm-to-table cuisine highlighting local vendors.
The Hom Wood Fired Grill location in Brookfield opened in 2013, and closed in 2016.
