Candace Hennessy, Ph.D. and registered nurse, has been named the new president and chief executive officer of Curative Care Network.
Milwaukee-based Curative has served southeastern Wisconsin since 1919 by improving the function and quality of life for children, adults and senior citizens with disabilities or limiting conditions.
“Candace is passionate about the mission of Curative and looks forward to working with the talented team of Curative employees,” said Curative board chair Wayne Morgan. “Candace brings to Curative 25 years of experience in health care. Most recently, she was an executive vice president for Aurora Health Care and president and chief clinical officer for Aurora Visiting Nurse Association of Wisconsin. She has successfully led large teams of health care professionals with a focus on excellence in patient care and outcomes. In addition, Candace brings a commitment to learning as she has been a professor at Marquette University and Carroll University.”
Morgan also expressed the gratitude of the Curative Care Network board to Robert Coons Jr., who has retired after serving for 19 years as the president and CEO of Curative Care Network.
Curative provides services to children, adults and senior citizens at community-based sites in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties.
