The Helen Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management recently moved to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Alumni House, 3230 E. Kenwood Blvd.
The offices are located on the third floor in the Alumni House, which is an English Tudor mansion located on the lake bluff at the end of Kenwood Boulevard, one block east of the intersection of Lincoln Memorial Drive and Lake Drive.
This fall, the Helen Bader Institute will present a forum for nonprofit executives on “Involving Volunteers: Making the Investment, Reaping the Returns,” featuring Jeffrey Brudney, the Albert A. Levin Chair of Urban Studies and Public Service at Cleveland State University. The event will take place Thursday, Oct. 21, from 8:30 to 11 a.m., at the UWM School of Continuing Education.
The presentation by Brudney will offer a new perspective on volunteer management as a resource for nonprofits. For additional information, call (414) 229-3176.
