Mitchell Bank, an independent community bank established in Milwaukee in 1907, has named banking veteran Thomas Hart as president and a member of its board of directors.

Hart brings 23 years of banking experience to his new position with Mitchell. Hart started his banking career with Mitchell Bank in 1989 and has earned this promotion while working as Mitchell Bank’s vice president and senior commercial loan officer since 2003.

“I look forward to working with the existing management team, employees, loyal customers and the community in my role of leading Milwaukee’s premier community development financial institution as we execute a strategy of providing personalized banking services to the Mitchell Bank community,” Hart said.
Mitchell Bank is based in Milwaukee at 1039 W. Mitchell St. and has an additional branch in New Berlin at 12400 W. National Ave.
