Groundbreaking to be held next week for new EmbedTek building

Organizations:

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 8, to celebrate the start of construction of a new 100,000-square-foot facility for EmbedTek at N7 W23700 Bluemound Road, near the Waukesha County Airport.

Interstate Partners is the developer for the project.

EmbedTek designs and manufactures single-purpose computers and digital displays for original equipment manufacturers.

The company, currently located at 1115 Cottonwood Ave. in Hartland, plans to occupy half of the new building with options to expand later into the entire building.

EmbedTek says its sales have grown 1,322 percent in the last three years.

“We are a growing business that can no longer fit with our current space,” said spokesman Len Lamberg. “We’ll be moving in the spring to the new, much larger building. This is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.”

The advanced new facility, designed for cell-based manufacturing, will feature computerized work instructions, a clean room, and a large engineering space for design and validation.
