This photo shows the new terminal built in 1955 at General Mitchell Field in Milwaukee with cars parked across the street. The parking lot would eventually be replaced by a parking structure. That year, around 521,700 passengers traveled through Mitchell. In 2020, 2.63 million passengers went through the airport, a nearly 62% drop from 2019 and the lowest level since 1984.
