The Paranet Group will host “International Business: Exporting for Small to Medium-Sized Companies” on Thursday, July 24, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at its headquarters, 10000 Innovation Drive, Suite 105 in Wauwatosa.

Paul Byrne, international business consultant and former director of business planning and development at Modine Manufacturing Co. in Racine, will be the presenter at the event.

According to The Paranet Group, companies that export grow 2.4 times faster than those that do not, and benefit from better profits and better business valuations.

The event will include a discussion of the export profile of the region, an introduction to a regional initiative to double exports by 2019, an assessment of attendees’ companies on the international business continuum, obstacles that may be encountered and how to overcome them and the resources available to help companies get started exporting.

Companies that are not exporting, or are doing so in an unfocused manner; senior executives who want to know the basic considerations in developing an export initiative; and export champions in companies that want alternate strategies to consider are encouraged to attend.
