Howard C. Williams was recently named senior vice president and regional manager for Wisconsin and Michigan at Wells Fargo Private Bank.
Based from Milwaukee, Williams will oversee private banking, credit, investment management and trust and estate services through Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., as well as brokerage services through Wells Fargo Investments, LLC.
Williams worked previously in various management capacities for SunTrust Bank in Atlanta, where he was most recently its chief fiduciary officer. He also spent 18 years at JPMorgan Chase in a number of management positions both inside and outside of Wisconsin. Prior to that, Williams worked as an attorney for the Milwaukee firm Whyte, Hirschboeck & Dudek before leaving private practice for a career in financial services. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and has lectured extensively on many wealth management and financial planning topics.

Wells Fargo Private Bank also promoted Michael D. (Ted) Williams, CFP, to vice president. Williams will serve as a private client advisor with responsibility for Wisconsin and assembling teams of specialists to address each client’s unique circumstances. Before joining Wells Fargo last year, Williams spent four years as an investment advisor and financial planner with JPMorgan in its Private Client Services division.
Additionally, Wells Fargo Private Bank in Milwaukee is continuing plans to strengthen its team of professional talent with a number of private banking hires scheduled for the near future.
Securant Bank & Trust has named Richard Ziebell as an assistant vice president. Ziebell will be located at the Elm Grove office, 12960 W. Bluemound Road. He has been working in the banking industry for more than 30 years.
