Everbrite acquires Arizona sign company

Organizations:

Greenfield-based sign manufacturer and manager Everbrite LLC has acquired the assets of Tucson, Ariz-based Fluoresco Lighting-Sign Maintenance Corp.

The merged company will be called Fluoresco Services LLC, and the company’s service arm will operate under that name. Everbrite will add a manufacturing facility in Tucson, which will take on the Everbrite name. The company’s six existing manufacturing facilities will also continue under Everbrite.

The new company will include Fluoresco’s 150 employees, bringing total employment to 874, said Thomas Brockley, president of Everbrite.

Everbrite made the acquisition, for which a transaction price was not disclosed, to expand its geographic reach.

“We had been looking for a manufacturing opportunity in the west so that we could make the signs that our customers require and be competitive on freight,” Brockley said. “We have a lot of national accounts that do very good business with us in the East and Midwest, but we don’t get as much of their business in the West, and we feel like we will be able to with this manufacturing footprint in Tucson.”

Fluoresco reported $21 million in revenue last year and expects the same results this year, Brockley said.

“We’re very excited about the opportunity to expand our national footprint into the western United States with this addition to the Everbrite family of companies,” he said. “Everbrite and Fluoresco share the same set of values in being family owned, providing quality products and delivering outstanding customer service. Additionally, the Fluoresco Team has a 50+ year history and is experienced at servicing Fortune 500 brands. We’re extremely happy to support existing Fluoresco clients with the same high level of service to which they are accustomed and they can be assured the company is positioned to perform well into the future.”
