What has fueled your company’s growth? Our success is a result of a combination of factors. The tightening labor market has obviously increased the need for our services, however the true success is primarily due to the unique type of firm that we are and my exceptional team of Recruiters. Our commitment to hiring top talent at Elite is indicative of the level of candidates we also supply exclusively to our clients. We hire the best, and they in turn recruit only the best!

What is the biggest obstacle to your company’s growth? I think our primary challenge is to operate properly, while still growing at an accelerated rate. We’re very conscious of the toll this can take on employees, corporate culture and strategic initiatives. We don’t want to lose the foundation and “feel” of Elite.

Do you plan any changes in your company in the upcoming months? I’m currently in the research and development stage of launching a sister company to Elite. This new company would provide vendor management solutions to organizations attempting to streamline their hiring process. The unique benefit and value that we bring to this arena is our WBE (Woman Business Enterprise) certified status. This will allow organizations to further develop their Affirmative Action Programs and meet their diversity spending goals by utilizing us as the primary vendor of choice.

Who are the business people, locally or nationally, whom you admire? And what traits do those people exhibit that make you admire them? Though not a business person in the traditional sense, the progressiveness and unwavering courage that Sen. Russ Feingold exhibits has always inspired me. I would love the opportunity to someday meet him in person, as I am certain his character and insight I would find incredibly admirable.

What is the outlook for the business conditions of your industry over the next several months? Organizations are starting to awaken to the fact that they need to have contingency plans in place that address a significant shift in the workforce as baby-boomers hit retirement age. As this trend continues, there will be an ever increasing need for a resource that assists in finding top talent. Our services will not only address the long term talent searches, but also provides interim solutions in their hiring process by providing contract employees that can fill in vacancies.
