Dynamic Ratings Inc. held a grand opening ceremony last week with Gov. Scott Walker in attendance for its new 22,250-square-foot facility and technology center at N56 W24879 N. Corporate Circle in Sussex.
The company, a global supplier of sensors, monitoring, controls and communication solutions for electrical power apparatus, purchased the facility from Sussex Corporate Center LLC for $1.6 million, according to global marketing manager Ty Foren.
Dynamic Ratings previously leased an 8,408-square-foot facility located in the same industrial park in the Sussex Executive Center at N53 W24794 S. Corporate Circle. In total, the company went from 5,408 square feet of office space to 14,250 square feet and from 3,000 square feet of manufacturing space to 8,000 square feet.
“During our strategic planning process, the management team reviewed our global growth plans through fiscal year 2017. To meet our consolidated goals, it was determined Dynamic Ratings needed to increase our physical headcount, manufacturing and innovation lab facilities to better serve our customers and their end users,” Foren said.
Dynamic Ratings has 39 employees at its Sussex facility, five at its Minneapolis facility and approximately two dozen in Australia. Foren said the Wisconsin facility more than tripled its employment since Walker was elected. Now, the company is currently hiring for six positions in the areas of engineering, field service and event planning.
Dynamic Ratings moved into the new facility in early September.
