Diamond Vogel Paints buys industrial building to expand operations in Sheboygan Falls

Organizations:

Orange City, Iowa-based Diamond Vogel Paints recently purchased a 48,000-square-foot building in Sheboygan Falls for $1.15 million.

The building was formerly occupied by Torginol Inc., a manufacturer of decorative materials for use with resinous flooring systems, which in 2011 purchased an 108,000-square-foot building in Sheboygan and moved its operations there.

Diamond Vogel Paints currently owns two buildings, which it acquired from Fasse Paint, near the the former Torginol building. Diamond Vogel plans to move its aerosol division operations into the former Torginol building, said Ken Sonntag, building inspector and assessor for Sheboygan Falls.

Diamond Vogel plans to sell the smaller of the two former Fasse Paint buildings that it owns. Diamond Vogel needs more space and plans to add more employees, Sonntag said.

A representative for Diamond Vogel did not return a phone call seeking comment.
