DeVry to host displaced worker seminar

DeVry University/Keller Graduate School will host a free “displaced workers” seminar on Saturday, July 11 from 8:20 a.m. to 12 noon at its downtown Milwaukee location, 411 E. Wisconsin Ave., Suite 300.

The theme of the seminar will be “Give your future a better chance.” Topics will be covered by Keller Graduate School of Management professionals and will include interviewing techniques and resume writing, job search techniques including networking and internet search techniques, and negotiation skills training focusing on leveraging your abilities during a salary negotiation.

DeVry University is also offering 500 scholarships to any of its degree granting institutions to workers affected by recent layoffs. For more information about scholarship, individuals should visit www.devry.edu/stimulusscholarship.
