Days Inn & Suites near airport to be sold in online auction

Minimum bid set at $1.25 million

The Days Inn & Suites – Milwaukee Airport hotel will be sold next month in an online auction, with a minimum bid set at $1.25 million.

The 160-room, three-story hotel, at 6331 S. 13th St., has an occupancy rate of 54.9 percent. By comparison, the average occupancy rate for 29 hotels in downtown Milwaukee was 66.1 percent for the first six months of 2016, according to data compiled by STR.

The Days Inn is owned by Parth Shaha, of Pleasant Prairie, and assessed at $2.55 million by the city of Milwaukee. the 103,449-square-foot building was built in 1967, according to city records.

The three-day auction starts on Sept. 19 at www.ten-x.com.
