The Milwaukee Wave will cap off its upcoming season home opener with a performance by the rock band Daughtry, famous for hit songs like “It’s Not Over,” “Feels Like Tonight,” Over You,” “What About Now,” and “Home.”
The band will make an appearance following the Wave’s 6 p.m. match against the Baltimore Blast on Saturday, Dec. 7, at the U.S. Cellular Arena, located at 400 W. Kilbourn Ave. in Milwaukee.
Daughtry gained much of its fame after lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Chris Daughtry ranked among top contestants on season five of the television show “American Idol.” In 2007, the band gained additional attention for winning three American Music Awards.
Daughtry plans to release a new album, “Baptized,” on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
Concert tickets for the opening Wave game range from $17 to $57. Attendees who purchase game tickets can also sit in on the concert.
Other ticket options include 200 “On-Filed Concert Pit Passes,” each for an additional $25, and 10 exclusive “Daughtry VIP Experience Packages” at $250. These special tickets are available on a first-come first-served basis.
