A 105-room extended stay Home 2 Suites by Hilton is being built at the northwest corner of Falls Parkway and Roosevelt Drive near the 320 market-rate high-end apartments developed by Milwaukee-based Fiduciary Real Estate Development in White Stone Station.

Scott Yauck, president and chief executive officer of Cobalt Partners, sold the parcel the hotel will be built on Aug. 10 for $1.5 million.

Construction also began on 10,000 square feet of retail at White Stone Station that will include a Mooyah Burger and Firehouse Subs, Yauck said.

Cobalt Partners is developing the multi-use project within the 65-acre former industrial area west of the interchange of US 41/45 and Pilgrim Road.

In June 2014, Cobalt announced a Costco store would anchor the development. In late 2013, the Wisconsin Athletic Club and Froedtert Health opened a sports medicine and fitness facility within the development area.

On Sunday, HomeGoods opened. Ulta Beauty has also opened.

Construction is planned in spring 2017 for the final phase of that development, which will include several more restaurants and retailers that have not yet been announced in up to six buildings on the remaining five acres of the 60-acre development.
