Clear Water Outdoor to open store in Third Ward

Clear Water Outdoor, an outdoor clothing and gear store with locations in Lake Geneva and Delafield, plans to open a store in the City of Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward neighborhood.

Clear Water Outdoor also offers kayak, cross country ski and snowshoe rentals and lessons.

The Third Ward store will be located in a 5,751-square-foot space at 250 N. Water St. The space was formerly occupied by Cranston, an upscale home décor and accessories store that closed recently.

The building is owned by the George Bockl Living Trust.

Clear Water Outdoor was represented by John Kuhn and Matt Chappell of Siegel-Gallagher an the trust was represented by Josh Minkin of Alpine Commercial.

“They are very excited about coming down into Milwaukee,” Kuhn said. “It’s an ideal location. It will be a great addition to the Third Ward.”
