Arena supporters say huge opportunity must be seized

The plans for a new $500 million arena in downtown Milwaukee and another $500 million in ancillary development is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the community that leaders must find a way to deliver, a panel of civic and business leaders said Tuesday at a Fuel Milwaukee event.

MMAC poll shows arena support

In a poll conducted by The Tarrance Group for the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce that surveyed 600 “likely” voters in Wisconsin, 64 percent of respondents said that it would be a good investment for the state if it borrowed money to help fund a new arena in downtown Milwaukee for the Milwaukee Bucks.
