Milk production in Wisconsin during October totaled 2.34 billion pounds, up 2 percent over the previous October, according to the latest report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service.

After seven years, Brocach Irish Pub and Restaurant, located at 1850 N. Water St. on Milwaukee’s East Side, will close its doors. A new establishment, called Red Lion Pub, will take over the space.

State’s manufacturers post third annual jobs gain

Wisconsin manufacturing companies added 5,796 jobs from July 2013 to July 2014, a 1 percent increase. It’s the third annual manufacturing jobs gain for the state, according to the 2015 Wisconsin Manufacturers Register.

Russian brewer acquires Pabst brand

A Russian beverage company said Thursday it is acquiring the Pabst Brewing Company, which produces Milwaukee legacy beer Pabst Blue Ribbon and other brands such as Colt 45 and Old Milwaukee.
