The four-county metropolitan Milwaukee housing market continued plowing through the winter in February, posting a 16.4 percent increase in sales over February 2012, the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors reported this week.

At Tuesday's Milwaukee County Parks Committee meeting, officials with the Milwaukee Art Museum and Milwaukee County War Memorial Inc. announced that they have reached a tentative agreement regarding the ongoing management of the buildings and grounds occupied by both organizations.

Zywave Inc., a Wauwatosa-based firm that develops software for insurance brokers and financial planners, is expanding again. The firm is increasing its office space at the Mayfair Woods building, located at 10700 W. Research Dr., from 35,673 square feet of 59,828 square feet of office space.

Waukesha-based Angelic Bakehouse Inc. plans to build a $3.4 million, 22,000-square-foot headquarters facility, with office and production space, at 3275 E. Layton Ave. in Cudahy.

The plans to reconfigure the Lake Interchange, announced by state and local officials this week, will open up a three-acre site near the downtown Milwaukee lakefront for development and include road improvements and footbridges to improve vehicular and pedestrian access to the lakefront.
