Menomonee Fall-based Kohl's Corp. continues to execute a strategy of expanding its corporate headquarters by purchasing existing nearby buildings rather than building new.

Construction begins for Mequon Town Center

WiRED Properties and Shaffer Development have begun construction of the $19 million Mequon Town Center mixed-use development at the northwest corner of Mequon and Cedarburg roads in Mequon. WiRED and Shaffer announced Thursday that they have closed on a $13.4 million construction loan for the project with BMO Harris Bank.
