South side medical office building sold for $5.95 million

An affiliate of The Atkins Companies, a West Orange, N.J.-based real estate development, investment and management firm, recently purchased a 26,521-square-foot medical office building at 3305 S. 20th St. in Milwaukee for $5.95 million, according to state records.

BizTimes Around Town: 833 East groundbreaking

Real estate development firm Irgens recently celebrated the groundbreaking of 833 East with a ceremony at the U.S. Bank Center. The 17-story office tower at 833 E. Michigan St. in downtown Milwaukee will contain 358,017 square feet of office space and cost an estimated $101.51 million to build. The general contractor for the project is Milwaukee-based CG Schmidt, Inc., and the architect is Milwaukee-based Kahler Slater.

NML wants to buy O’Donnell Park parking structure for $12.7 million

Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. wants to buy the O'Donnell Park parking structure, located near the lakefront in downtown Milwaukee, for $12.7 million, according to a report from Milwaukee County Economic Development Director Teig Whaley-Smith to the Milwaukee County Board.

Bon-Ton buys Southridge Boston Store property for $3.9 million

The Bon-Ton Department Stores Inc., which has corporate headquarters offices in Milwaukee and York, Pa., recently purchased the Boston Store property at Southridge Mall in Greendale from Anthony Palermo for $3.925 million, according to state records.

Zilber buys six industrial buildings near airport for $2.55 million

An affiliate of Milwaukee-based Zilber Property Group recently purchased six industrial buildings, with a total of 206,000 square feet of space, near Gen. Mitchell International Airport for $2.55 million, according to state records.

Plans approved for Suzy’s Cream Cheesecakes in Oak Creek

The Oak Creek Plan Commission on Tuesday approved plans for Suzy’s Cream Cheesecakes Inc., a producer of cheesecakes and other desserts, to move from St. Francis to a building in Oak Creek.
