Meijer plans store in West Bend

Grand Rapid, Mich.-based Meijer is adding West Bend to the growing number of southeastern Wisconsin communities where it plans to build stores.

Combination grocery store, restaurant and bar opening in Bay View

Bumstead Provisions, a rustic new grocery store, restaurant and bar with an emphasis on locally-sourced craft beer and food, will open in September at 2671-75 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., according to Ald. Tony Zielinski.

Germantown-based Kessler’s Diamonds announced that it plans to open a store in downtown Milwaukee in the George Watts & Son Building at 761 N. Jefferson St.

Metal-Era plans to expand plant in Waukesha

Metal-Era, a roof edge and ventilation system manufacturer, plans to add an addition of about 35,000 square feet to its 110,000-square-foot plant at 1600 Airline Road in Waukesha.

Novozymes expands Milwaukee space

Novozymes BioAg Inc., a conpenhagen, Denmark-based biotech firm, is expanding its presence in Milwaukee. The firm recently leased a 75,500-square-foot building at 4801 W. Woolworth Ave., from Milwaukee-based Phoenix Investors LLC.
Novozymes has operations around globe including China, India, Brazil, Argentina, United Kingdom, Canada, and United States.

Real estate forum at BizExpo will focus on downtown developments
