Manufacturing sector is strong among Future 50 winners
The list of the 2012 Future 50 fastest-growing companies in the Milwaukee area underscores the importance of the manufacturing sector on the local economy, as 17 manufacturers are on the list. All but eight of the 2012 winners (84 percent) export at least some of their goods or services outside of the Milwaukee Region, with many exporting internationally.
