Fairfield Inn to open downtown

The 103-room Fairfield Inn & Suites hotel will open on Tuesday, May 21. The hotel is located in the 89-year-old Straus Building at 710 N. Old World Third St., formerly a Best Western hotel that is being converted to Fairfield Inn & Suites, which is a Marriott brand.
