Milwaukee VA center receives medical transfer board donation
The Paralyzed Veterans of America announced today that it will donate 10 medical transfer boards to each of the 25 Department of Veterans Affairs spinal cord injury centers across the country, including one in Milwaukee.
Children’s Hospital redesignated as Level 4 Epilepsy Center
Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin has been redesignated as a Level 4 Epilepsy Center by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC). Level 4 is the highest level of specialized epilepsy care available, and the Children’s Hospital is the only Level 4 pediatric epilepsy program in the state.

Physicians Realty Trust narrows loss
Milwaukee-based Physicians Realty Trust, a self-managed health care real estate investment trust, today reported a fiscal first quarter net loss of $448,000, or 1 cent per share, which was an improvement over a net loss of $3.1 million, or 15 cents per share, in the same period a year ago.
Connecture narrows loss
Brookfield-based Connecture Inc. reported a first quarter net loss of $5.1 million, or 24 cents lost per share, compared with a net loss of $6.6 million, or $41.34 lost per share, in the first quarter of 2014.
