Aurora invests in StartUp Health to accelerate innovations in care

Aurora Health Care on Tuesday announced that it is taking a lead investor role in StartUp Health, a New York-based global health innovation company with more than 100 digital health portfolio companies, in order to help accelerate the review and adoption of innovations aimed at transforming the delivery of care.

Froedtert & the Medical College has state’s first accredited pulmonology department

Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin’s department of pulmonology has been accredited as a Pulmonary Hypertension Care Center (PHCC) by the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA). It is among nine newly accredited PHCCs across the nation, raising the total to 26 centers in the U.S. Froedtert & the Medical College’s pulmonology department is the first in the state of Wisconsin.

Aurora Health Care today named Dr. Andy Anderson its new chief medical officer. He will be responsible for Aurora's strategic direction and operational deployment of critical physician and clinical support functions, including infection prevention, medical staff services and case management.
