Organizations may submit a listing to any of the directories any time throughout the year, but submissions will only be featured in the print directory if completed by the deadlines as noted below. BizTimes Milwaukee invites southeastern Wisconsin nonprofit organizations to take advantage of a year-long marketing opportunity by submitting information to be featured in the 2013 BizTimes Giving Guide, a print and digital publication to showcase nonprofit organizations seeking support from the business community.

A homeownership rally uniting concerned community members with elected officials will take place Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at O'Donnell Park in Milwaukee, 910 E. Michigan Street. Sponsored by the Metropolitan Builders Association, the Wisconsin Builders Association, and the National Association of Home Builders, the Rally for Home ownership will draw attention to significant housing issues in the face of the Nov. 6 Presidential elections.

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett has declared Monday, Oct. 1, as Food For Families Day to kick off the Hunger Task Force's annual Food For Families campaign, which collects non-perishable food items throughout the holidays for Milwaukee-area families in need.
