2012 ‘Foundations in Wisconsin’ directory published and available for purchase

Organizations:

The Funding Information Center of Marquette University’s Raynor Memorial Libraries has published the 2012 Foundations in Wisconsin directory both online and in print and has made it available for purchase to the public.

The 31st edition of the directory contains information on more than 1,300 private, corporate and community foundations throughout Wisconsin and details more than $400 million in grants distributed during the last year. Among the figures is a 12 percent increase in total foundation assets from last year, equal to $7 billion.

The directory’s profiles provide information about street and Web addresses, telephone and fax numbers, contact people, officers and directors, donors, finances, mission statements and application information among other pieces of overview information.

The print version features three indexes – area of interest, county and officers. The online directory includes a search engine function that enables a user to find organizations by keyword, foundation name, officers, donors, city and county, areas of interest, and sample grants. The online directory also allows users to find funding sources that correspond with a foundation’s mission and priorities. Purchasing a subscription to the online format guarantees full access to the directory for one year.

To purchase a digital or print copy of the directory, call the Funding Information Center at 414-288-1515 or visit www.marquette.edu/library/services/fic.shtml.
