A new report from the Public Policy Forum says there are numerous obstacles to connecting workers from Milwaukee's central city to jobs in the suburbs.

Gov. Scott Walker yesterday signed Senate Bill 333 into law. The bill provides for a Transitional Jobs Program that would bolster resources for job seekers in areas with high unemployment and child poverty rates.
