State Sen. Tim Carpenter, who lost his spot as chair of the Senate Public Health Committee after criticizing Majority Leader Russ Decker, is not backing down.
Appearing on “UpFront with Mike Gousha,” statewide Sunday TV news magazine show produced in conjunction with WisPolitics, Carpenter said he was disgusted Decker prevented a vote on a bill to repeal the minimum markup on prescription drugs.
“My job is to represent my constituents,” Carpenter said. “I don’t represent the majority leader or folks up north.”
