Milwaukee’s 30th Street Industrial Corridor Corp. will present “Reshaping Southeastern Wisconsin: Connecting the Corridor to the Next Generation of Jobs” on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 7-9 a.m. at DRS Power & Control Technologies Inc., 4265 N. 30th St., Milwaukee. The event will focus on redevelopment opportunities in the corridor, including the former A.O. Smith/Tower Automotive site. The event will be opened by Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and a keynote address will be delivered by Carlos Santiago, chancellor of UW-Milwaukee. Julia Taylor of the Greater Milwaukee Committee will moderate a panel discussion featuring Michael Floyd of Glenn Rieder Inc., Richard Meeusen of Badger Meter Inc., Alan Parlstein of DRS, and Peggy Troy of Children’s Hospital and Health System Inc.
