- Thursday, Dec. 1 SBA Young Entrepreneur series will be held at VETransfer, 161 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 2100 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. US SBA Deputy Administrator Marie Johns will conduct a dialogue with entrepreneurs, regional experts, and skilled trades community members that are driving economic impact in Milwaukee. A distinguished panel of young business leaders will share their personal stories, business tips and lessons learned during an interactive session connected to a national online audience. With youth unemployment twice the national average in many communities, SBA recognizes a need to promote and better support the efforts of young people looking to create jobs – for themselves and others. - Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3 Pelajia Productions and FromTheCottage Productions will present The Christmas Spirit, an exclusive production at Lake Lawn Resort throughout the month of December. The event will feature a dinner of Apple Almond Bread Stuffed Chicken, Roasted Butternut Squash Soup and more. Price for dinner and the eventing performances are $35 for adults and $20 for children. A matinee performance without dinner will also take place on Sundays.
- Wednesday, Dec. 7 WCTC will host a Small Business Connections Network Group Meeting at the Richard T. Anderson Education Center, 800 Main St., in Pewaukee from 6 to 9 p.m. Attendees will be able to ask a panel of practicing professionals questions related to small business accounting, technology, marketing, sales and social media and branding. - Wednesday, Dec. 7 Active Business Leads Exchange (ABLE) North will hold a combined networking event for the Granville-Brown Deer Germantown, Menomonee Falls and Wauwatosa West Suburban Chambers of Commerce. The event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn- Park Place, 11600 W. Park Place, Milwaukee from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Cost to attend is $14 for members in advance, or $17 for members onsite and $30 for nonmembers.
