  • Tuesday, Nov. 3, The 6th Annual Fall Benefit, A Taste for Wellness will be held at the Merrill Hills Country Club in Waukesha from 5:30-9 p.m. and will benefit the Mental Health Associations in Waukesha County. Guests will be able to sample an assortment of wine and gourmet food stations, desserts and coffee. The event will also have a silent auction, a raffle and live entertainment.   • Tuesday, Nov. 17, The Management Association will host a presentation by Ralph Pontillo, CEO of the Manufacturers and Business Association (MBA) in Erie, Pa. He will discuss an overview for business leaders on the systematic methodology of Blue Ocean Strategy at MRA’s Conference Center in Waukesha from 9-11 a.m. MBA is the only training site in the U.S. certified to teach the Blue Ocean Strategy approach and Pontillo is a nationally recognized leader in its application. Popularized in the book by W. Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne, adopting a Blue Ocean Strategy allows companies to break away from the competition and shrinking markets by moving into new markets in which there are no competitors.
