*Thursday, Aug. 22, Jazz in the Park will feature live music at Milwaukee’s Cathedral Square Park, located on East Wells Street and North Jackson Street. The weekly summer music event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a happy hour starting at 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to purchase food and beverages from area vendors onsite. *Friday, Aug. 23, Waukesha County Business Alliance will present its monthly One-on-One with Public Officials, giving community members an opportunity to sit down with Waukesha County Board Chairman Paul Decker to ask questions and discuss issues of the day. The free program will run from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the alliance’s Jannsen Conference Room, located at 2717 N. Grandview Blvd, Ste. 300 in Waukesha. To register, visit www.waukesha.org.

*Sunday, Aug. 25, Surg Restaurant Group will present a block party in the 700 block of Milwaukee Street in downtown Milwaukee. The celebration will feature wine, sushi, pasta making and cocktail demonstrations with live music provided by DJ DEVAST8, Road Crew, and Element 13. *Wednesday, Aug. 28, Live @ The Lakefront will feature its last concert of the summer with a performance by R.A.S. Movement. Live @ The Lakefront is a free weekly summer music event that runs from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the outdoor Rotary Amphitheater at Discovery World, located at 500 N. Harbor Dr. in Milwaukee. Seating is based on first come, first served. The concert takes place rain or shine with a backup location in Discover World’s indoor Promenade.
