*Saturday, June 8, Joe De Sena, founder of the Reebok Spartan Race, will run a free kick-butt workout at Milwaukee’s Bradford Beach from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The workout is open to the public and will help prepare participants to tackle the Wisconsin Spartan Sprint at Miller Park in September. The sprint event includes a three-mile course featuring a number of obstacles along the way. Interested participants for this Saturday’s workout do not need to preregister, but those who do will receive a free t-shirt. Attendees will receive a step-by-step guide outlining ways to create effective, affordable wellness programs.
