*Friday, April 26, the Waukesha County Business Alliance will present its monthly One-on-One with Public Officials meet and greet. The event will feature Representative Adam Neylong of the 98th Assembly District. Attendees will have a chance to sit down with Neylon and ask him their questions over coffee. *Friday, April 26, the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center will host a ceremony to unveil the Milwaukee VA Soldiers Home Historic District’s National Historic Landmark plaque. The event will begin at 11 a.m. on the Soldiers Home grounds, 5000 W. National Ave. in Milwaukee, and will be held near the fountain by Old Main (Building Two). National Historic Landmark status represents the highest historical honor a site can achieve. Fewer than 2,500 sites across the country have achieved this honor. *Tuesday, April 30, the Midwest Business Brokers and Intermediaries (MBBI) will host a Leadership Summit featuring bestselling author and nationally known executive coach Marshall Goldsmith. Other speakers include leadership coaches Aleta Norris and Bob Brill. Each participant will take home a signed copy of Goldsmith’s book “What Got You Here Won’t Get You There.” The summit will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the BMO Institute for Learning U.S., 395 N. *Tuesday, April 30, the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) will present a Leadership Luncheon with Judge Derek Mosley. The luncheon will highlight Mosley’s career accomplishments, from establishing the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office Community Prosecution Unit to making history as the youngest Chief Judge to serve the Milwaukee Municipal Court. The event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the Northside YMCA, 1350 W. North Ave. in Milwaukee. Cost to attend is $12 for FUEL and MMAC members and $25 for non-members. *Thursday, May 2, Ebenezer Child Care Centers will hold a “Working Mom’s Luncheon” focused on balancing the demands and responsibilities of work and family. The event will feature love and logic expert Pam Olsen, who will offer attendees advice on staying patient and listening effectively. It will also include networking and a silent auction and raffle. The luncheon is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Italian Community Center, 631 E. Chicago St. in Milwaukee. Cost is $40 per person or $500 for a corporate table of eight.
