*Monday, April 7, the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation will hold a class on “Your Spends, Your Savings, Your Future.” The free class will teach attendees how to create a saving and spending plan and put that plan into action. *Tuesday, April 8, the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce will celebrate “Madison Night in Milwaukee.” The annual reception salutes the contributions of greater Milwaukee to the economic vitality of Wisconsin. The reception also provides attendees a chance to thank legislators and their staffs for their support of the region’s business community. The event is open to the public and typically attracts more than 300 individuals. This year’s event will be held at Discovery World At Pier Wisconsin, located at 500 N. *Wednesday, April 9, the Milwaukee Press Club will host a Newsmaker Luncheon featuring Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne, one of three Democratic candidates in the race to be Wisconsin’s next general attorney. A panel of local journalists will interview Ozanne, who is a prosecutor with 13 years of experience. Ozanne will be the third attorney general candidate to speak at a Newsmaker Luncheon. The luncheon is open to the public and will run from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Newsroom Pub, located at 137 E. Wells St. in downtown Milwaukee. Cost to attend is $18 for press club members, $23 for non-members and $13 for students. Seating is limited, and advanced payment and registration are required. *Wednesday, April 9, the Waukesha County Business Alliance will hold a young professionals networking session titled “Networking with an Executive.” Featured executive Jim Lindenberg, president of Lindy Enterprises and owner of Legends of the Field, will be onsite for young professionals to meet and get to know.
